ExportGHL Workflows

Export, transfer and clone
GoHighLevel workflows (automations).

GoHighLevel workflows are also called automations. Save any workflow to your cloud library, then export, transfer or deploy it into another sub-account or agency in one click — with pipelines, tags, users and custom fields remapped automatically, so it actually works in the destination.

How it works

Save it once. Check. Deploy.

GoHighLevel's native tools stop at your own agency: duplicate copies a workflow inside one sub-account, and Copy Workflow to Sub-Account is agency-admin and same-agency only, landing in draft. ExportGHL Workflows moves it across that wall — into any account you can open — in three clear steps, right inside GoHighLevel.

1 · Save

Save to your library

In the account you're copying from, save any workflow — every step, trigger and setting — to your private cloud library. It automatically snapshots that account's pipelines, tags and fields so the workflow can be rebuilt elsewhere.

2 · Check

See exactly what will happen

Open the destination account and hit Check — a free readiness report that shows what will map, what we'll auto-create for you, and anything you need to set up first. No credit spent, nothing deployed.

3 · Deploy

Build it in the new account

Deploy as a new workflow with pipelines, tags, users, fields and stages remapped by name. It lands as a draft for you to review — a working clone, never a broken copy.

The free readiness check tells you exactly what a deploy will do — before you spend a credit.

Built for agencies that run many accounts.

  • A private cloud library of reusable workflows
  • Free readiness check — see what will map before you spend a credit
  • Auto-create missing pipelines & tags in the destination for you
  • One-click deploy into any sub-account — across agencies
  • Cross-account remap: pipelines, stages, tags, users & fields, by name
  • Stages matched within their own pipeline — no wrong-funnel mismaps
  • Always lands as a reviewable draft — never published broken
  • Version history + pay-as-you-go credits that never expire
FAQ

Cloning GoHighLevel workflows — FAQ

How do you clone a GoHighLevel workflow?
GoHighLevel's own copy only reaches sub-accounts in your own agency and needs admin rights. ExportGHL Workflows saves any workflow to your cloud library, then rebuilds it in the account you choose using the same steps, triggers and settings — so you can clone a workflow into another sub-account or agency in one click. See the step-by-step guide.
Can I copy a workflow between sub-accounts or agencies?
Yes — that's the main purpose. Save from the source account, open the destination sub-account, and deploy. Cross-account remap rewrites ids that only exist in the source (pipelines, stages, tags, users, custom fields, calendars) to the matching ones in the destination. More in copying between accounts.
What happens to pipelines, tags and custom fields?
A workflow references ids that only exist in its own account. ExportGHL matches those by name against the destination and rewrites them, flagging anything it can't match so a broken step is never silently published. Unmappable references leave the workflow as a draft. See cross-account id remap.
Does deploying overwrite an existing workflow?
No. A deploy creates a new workflow in the destination by default. It never changes or deletes an existing workflow unless you deliberately choose to update one.
How is this different from a GoHighLevel snapshot?
Snapshots copy a whole account template and are awkward for moving one or a few workflows between existing live accounts. ExportGHL Workflows moves individual workflows on demand into accounts that are already set up. See snapshots vs workflow export.
Can you export a GoHighLevel workflow?
GoHighLevel has no button that exports a workflow (automation) to a file. ExportGHL Workflows saves a workflow to your cloud library and deploys it into any account you choose — another sub-account, another agency, or off-platform — with references remapped by name. See how to export GoHighLevel workflows.
How do I transfer GHL automations between accounts?
Native Copy Workflow only reaches sub-accounts in your own agency and needs agency-admin rights. ExportGHL Workflows transfers an automation into any account you can open, across agencies, with pipelines, tags, users and fields remapped to the destination by name. See copying between accounts.
Can I see what will happen before I deploy?
Yes — that's the readiness check. Before you spend any credit or create anything, hit "Check" and ExportGHL Workflows reads the destination account and shows you exactly what will map, what it will auto-create for you, and which assets you still need to set up (by name). Nothing is deployed and no credit is used until you choose to deploy. No other GoHighLevel workflow tool previews a move like this.
Will it create the missing pipelines and tags for me?
Optionally, yes. If the destination account is missing a pipeline or tag the workflow needs, tick "Auto-create" and ExportGHL Workflows builds it there — pipelines with their stages, in order — then wires the workflow up, matching what GoHighLevel's own Copy Workflow does but across agencies. Things it can't safely fabricate — email/SMS templates (which have content), calendars and team members — are left as a clear, named to-do list instead, and the workflow still lands as a reviewable draft.
